Journey To Mars

The self-sufficiency results in Mars becoming an independent nation. All the Martian-born babies are granted automatic Martian citizenship.
Settlement

The trip to Mars will take about seven months and about 300 million miles. During that journey, engineers have several opportunities to adjust the spacecraft’s flight path, to make sure its speed and direction are best for arrival at Jezero Crater on Mars.
Voyager

Starships with 400 scientists, workers, and colonists land at Mars Base Alpha, which now has a population of around 1700. The first child is born on Mars at Mars Base Alpha. His/her voyage to Earth later in his/her life would be dangerous because of bones and organs not being fit for Earth’s gravity.
